  • Home Farm sits in the Diamante Valley, above San Salvador de Barú on Costa Rica’s southern Pacific slope — about 3–3½ hours from San José International Airport (SJO), 1 hour from Quepos regional airport, or 45 minutes from San Isidro del General.

  • Yes, to enter the farm a 4×4 vehicle is 100% necessary. Additionally, a 4×4 vehicle for the final 15 minutes of driving to the farm is strongly recommended.

  • Yes. Once your stay or event is confirmed, we can connect you with trusted local drivers for airport or local transportation services.

    If you’d prefer to handle this directly, we have a list of regional flight / bus / shuttle service providers we are happy to share.

  • We can currently accommodate up to 20 overnight guests and around 40 participants for daytime gatherings.

  • Private single or double cabins, shared cabins (2-4 bunks each), and a duplex cabin. All are simple, rustic accommodations.

  • Yes, there are shared bathrooms and showers available near both groups of cabins, as well as bathrooms near the kitchen and dining area.

  • Wi-Fi is available in the main communal area. Most cabins are intentionally offline to support rest and reconnection.

  • A community kitchen and dining area, open-air yoga deck, the land, river, waterfall, and trail access.

  • Private food services (catering) is available upon prior request, otherwise you are welcome to mindful use of the shared kitchen space to prepare your meals.

  • Use one of our dedicated forms under “Stay”, “Retreats “ or “Volunteer”.
    We don’t process bookings by phone or social media.

  • A steward reviews your information, checks alignment and availability, then replies by email with next steps.

  • No. Home Farm is a private sanctuary; all visits require prior approval.
